I and Andrea Tricarico Films had the honor of capturing João’s proposal to Carolina in Rome. This Portuguese couple visited Rome in September, and their love story began nine years ago when they met in university, falling for each other at first sight—just like in a movie!
Both João and Carolina are incredibly sweet and tender, sharing a deep passion for travel. This shared passion inspired João to choose the Colosseum as the backdrop for his proposal.
Before the proposal, João and I exchanged numerous emails. We value building relationships with our clients that go beyond the professional, and João was understandably anxious about organizing the surprise. I and Andrea reassured him by helping with every detail: selecting the perfect spot and timing to allow for plenty of photos after the proposal, ensuring the surprise went off without a hitch, and even giving advice on their outfits!
Carolina’s reaction was deeply moving. Her love for João shone through her eyes as he embraced her protectively. João was speechless, constantly hugging and caressing her. The afternoon we spent together was truly magical, and I and Andrea will cherish these moments every time we look at the photos and video we created from the heart.
