When I think about Claudia and Pascal, the first thing that comes to mind is their radiant energy and how their joy is absolutely infectious. Their positivity and warmth are truly special. Despite living in Paris and only meeting face-to-face on their wedding day, it felt like we had known each other for years. Thanks to video calls and constant communication, we were able to plan every detail together as if distance didn’t exist.
The preparations took place in a hotel near the venue, while both the ceremony and reception unfolded at Casale di Polline, a breathtaking location with views over Lake Bracciano, just outside of Rome.
What made Claudia and Pascal’s wedding unique was its strong musical theme. The Catholic ceremony, held outdoors next to a small chapel on the estate, was already something out of the ordinary for Italy. What made it even more special was the celebrant, a close friend of the couple, who led a truly heartfelt and inspiring service. It was a refreshing departure from the more formal, less personal ceremonies we often see.
Music played a central role throughout the day. The choir, made up of the couple’s friends and colleagues, added a deeply emotional touch to the ceremony with their passionate singing. And this was just the beginning of the musical surprises!
Given that Claudia is a musical theatre actress, and Pascal often collaborates with her, it was no surprise that the reception was filled with music as well. Her colleagues put on a lively flash mob, switching between Italian and French songs, which moved Claudia to tears of joy. The highlight was when their band, Woodlight, took the stage for a mini-concert. Both Claudia and Pascal are members of the band, and their performance brought the entire crowd to their feet. If you haven’t listened to them yet, I highly recommend checking them out on Spotify or better on Tidal!
One final detail that made their wedding even more memorable was that Claudia was expecting their first child, a daughter they would name Luce, which means “light” in Italian. Knowing this, many of the photos from that day carry an even deeper significance, capturing not just the celebration of their love but the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
